Avitoil Heavy Classic 40 A

Monograde mineral oil designed for all types of diesel engine, including turbocharged engines. Particularly suitable for engines remaining idle for long periods in corrosive environments. Its high TBN provides the strong detergency needed by marine engines, especially medium-speed propulsion engines. Available in several viscosity grades, chosen according to the season of use. PERFORMANCE FEATURES AND BENEFITS Its detergent and dispersant additives neutralise acids formed by combustion of sulphur in diesel fuel, thanks to its high alkaline reserve (TBN). Contains highly effective corrosion, oxidation and rust inhibitors and foam-control additives. Maintains the correct pressure under all operating conditions.
